You Talk Funny is a sociolinguistic podcast that playfully examines our biases about dialect, language, and music, and how these biases affect our social, political, and personal lives. We hope that while exploring this fascinating and complicated subject matter we begin to chart a path towards a more progressive linguistic tolerance. To help us navigate the often contentious and emotionally charged world of aural biases, we will solicit the input of a wide and diverse range of experts from around the world. In the end, we will playfully craft each episode for YOU, our audience. We hope you will join us on our journey.
